HonorSolar Technology (Changshu) Co., Ltd. made a significant appearance at the SNEC PV+2024 Photovoltaic Expo. On June 15, the three-day 17th SNEC (2024) International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Exhibition (referred to as 2024 SNEC) concluded successfully. This year's event was unprecedented in scale, covering over 380,000 square meters and attracting more than 3,600 companies, including nearly all globally renowned photovoltaic enterprises, spanning every segment of the photovoltaic industry chain.

This event aims to recognize significant technological innovations in the photovoltaic industry, allowing the most outstanding technologies and products at the exhibition to stand out from the vast array of exhibits.

Showcasing Multiple High-Efficiency Modules


At this exhibition, HonorSolar showcased several high-efficiency modules to meet the diverse market demands, including the dual-glass series monocrystalline modules (HY-M12/132H-700W/N-type) and single-glass series monocrystalline modules (HY-M10/120H-490W/N-type). The half-cell module technology represents a significant breakthrough. By splitting the cells in half, the current in each busbar is halved, reducing internal losses to one-quarter of that in full-sized cell modules and achieving higher output when the module is partially shaded. The dual-sided modules with transparent backsheet technology can achieve up to 20% power gain depending on different reflectance rates and photovoltaic system designs. N-type modules generate 3.9% more electricity on average than P-type modules, with a power gain of about 1.5%-2% under high-temperature conditions, demonstrating excellent power generation capabilities.


Regarding bifacial power generation performance, the bifacial rate of N-type modules is about 10% higher than that of P-type modules, with power gain in different ground conditions ranging from 0.8% to 1.2%. Additionally, under low irradiance conditions, such as early morning or late afternoon, power gain can reach about 0.2%. The application of these technologies significantly enhances the power generation performance of HonorSolar's half-cell modules in several critical areas.
