Safety for Everyone, Emergency Preparedness for All | HonorSolar Conducts Fire Drill

On May 13th, the Xinzhuang Town Emergency Management, Comprehensive Law Enforcement, and Xinzhuang Health Center were invited to supervise HonorSolar's 2024 annual fire safety emergency drill. The company's Deputy General Manager, Shan Jianfeng, served as the chief commander of the drill, and the Manufacturing Department Director, Zhao Bin, served as the deputy commander. Over 100 department heads and employees participated.

This fire emergency drill included multiple professional drill segments such as emergency response, emergency evacuation, fire rescue, casualty treatment, and skill operations. During the drill, the Xinzhuang Fire Brigade invited firefighters to conduct training on the use of fire extinguishers, smoke masks, and CPR first aid.

At 8:30 AM, the drill entered the countdown. "Everyone, the drill is now officially starting," announced the chief commander after explaining the exercise requirements, marking the official start of the drill.

Smoke bombs were set off on the first floor of the factory, in the east and west escape routes, and at the reception area, filling the corridors with thick smoke.

Workshop staff discovered the fire, immediately called out for firefighting, activated the manual alarm, used fire extinguishers to fight the fire on-site, and reported to the Safety and Environmental Protection Department.

The Safety and Environmental Protection Department received the alarm, confirmed the fire situation through the control room, found the fire to be severe, and discovered an injured employee. They immediately reported to the chief commander according to the emergency plan.

The chief commander announced the activation of a Level 2 response according to the "HonorSolar Production Safety Accident Emergency Plan." The rescue team, medical team, evacuation team, and logistics support team immediately initiated the Level 2 response and proceeded to the site for emergency rescue. The communication team promptly called the fire department for external assistance.

The rescue team arrived at the scene and began setting up fire isolation barriers.

The medical team applied cold compresses and bandages to the injured personnel and quickly evacuated them on stretchers.

The evacuation team initiated the evacuation. The fire evacuation routes were clear, and the workshop was being evacuated orderly. Upon hearing the fire broadcast, employees from various factories in the park began evacuating. All employees gradually reached the evacuation assembly point, where the evacuation team organized a headcount.

The fire was spreading, and an employee was trapped on the rooftop.

Fire rescue team members set up firefighting equipment, simulated entering the fire scene, extinguished the flames, and used a ladder truck to rescue the trapped personnel.

The fire was brought under control, all personnel were rescued, and everyone gathered in front of the podium, where the successful conclusion of the drill was announced.

Special training on emergency medical treatment for personnel.

The fire brigade guided each team in fire extinguisher use and fire hydrant training.

Fire prevention knowledge lectures were conducted.

After the drill, Shan Jianfeng stated that this fire emergency drill was conducted quickly, safely, and orderly. It tested HonorSolar's comprehensive command capability, rapid response, emergency handling ability, and coordinated combat capability in dealing with sudden accidents. It enhanced the fire safety awareness of all employees and improved the emergency handling capability for sudden fire incidents. However, there were instances where personnel were not proficient in using firefighting equipment, which requires further training. HonorSolar always adheres to the safety management policy of "We are responsible for safe production," firmly establishing a sense of fire law awareness, crisis awareness, and responsibility awareness. We must resolutely overcome any fluke mentality and complacency, continuously focusing on fire safety work to provide a safe guarantee for HonorSolar's production.
